Delete Your Account

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open The Astro Nova on your device.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
3. Confirm by typing DELETE.
4. Your account is signed out immediately. All personal data is erased from our servers within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email (no app needed)

If you no longer have access to the app, email our support team. Include the email address you used to sign up.

We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, email, avatar)
• Birth data (date, time, place, latitude, longitude)
• Your birth chart and computed astrology data (planets, houses, dashas, yogas)
• All AI chat sessions and message history
• Daily readings, bookmarks, and saved readings
• Achievements, streaks, and engagement records
• Compatibility checks and tarot pull history
• Push notification tokens (deactivated immediately)

What may be retained for legal reasons

Some data must be kept by law and cannot be deleted on request:

• Subscription transaction records retained for up to 8 years per the Indian Income Tax Act and applicable tax laws (these are stored anonymised, without personal identifiers, after account deletion).
• Aggregated analytics (anonymised, not linkable to you) retained indefinitely to improve the app.
• Crash and error logs retained for 90 days, then auto-purged.

Before deleting: cancel your subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Cancel it first to avoid renewal charges:
