Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using The Astro Nova application ("App") or visiting our website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by RunAI Intelligence Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Astro Nova is an AI-powered Vedic astrology application that provides:

• Personalised Vedic birth chart (Kundli) generation
• Daily, weekly, and monthly horoscope readings
• AI-powered astrologer chat with persona-based interactions
• Dasha period analysis, transit tracking, and compatibility reports
• Numerology and Vedic remedy suggestions
• Tarot card readings

Important: All astrological readings, predictions, horoscopes, and content provided through the Service are for entertainment and general guidance purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice.

Our Service uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude AI) to generate astrological interpretations. AI-generated content:

• May contain inaccuracies or errors
• Should not be relied upon for major life decisions
• Does not replace consultation with qualified professionals (doctors, financial advisors, lawyers, etc.)
• Is generated algorithmically and does not come from a certified human astrologer

You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own discretion and risk.

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information (including birth details)
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5.1 Subscription Plans

The Astro Nova offers free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require an active paid subscription.

5.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription price upon renewal.

5.3 Cancellation

• Apple App Store: Manage subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• Google Play Store: Manage subscriptions in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions
• Razorpay (India): Cancel via the app settings or contact support

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.

5.4 Refunds

Refunds are subject to the refund policies of Apple, Google, or Razorpay respectively. For purchases made via Razorpay, refund requests can be made within 7 days of purchase by contacting support@astronova.app.

You retain ownership of content you submit (chat messages, profile information). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., generating AI readings from your birth data).

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers and networks
• Use the AI chat to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without written permission
• Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts
• Circumvent any access restrictions, rate limits, or payment mechanisms

The Service, including its design, code, AI prompts, Vedic interpretations, graphics, logos, and the "The Astro Nova" and "Surya" brands, are owned by RunAI Intelligence Pvt. Ltd. and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Apple, Google, Razorpay, Clerk, Anthropic, etc.). Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, content, or practices.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that astrological predictions or AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or reliable
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for any decisions you make based on astrological readings or AI-generated content

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RunAI Intelligence Pvt. Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India.

For EU/EEA users: nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
